Virginia’s State Police have been operating their Operation Air, Land, and Speed Campaigns since 2006. The campaigns are designed to keep safe the most traveled highways through law enforcement saturation in specific area. Saturation includes the Virginia State Police utilizing everything at their disposal to include:
• Troopers;
• Supervisors;
• Motorcycle units;
• Motor carrier teams; and
• Aviation unites.
